Sales Unit Duties and Actions
The Sales Unit, as one of the sub-units of the Commerce Department, is comprised of specialized experts in patient affairs and specialized sales experts in the fields of consumables and capital equipment.
Main Duties of the Sales Unit:
1- Sale of consumables to hospitals, medical centers and patients:
1-1: Sale of consumable items to hospitals and medical centers, including: cardiac items (ICD, heart valves and rings, pacemakers), gastrointestinal items, surgical sutures, angiocaths, and bone marrow transplant solutions.
1-2: Sale of consumable items to patients, including: stent grafts, pacemakers, ICDs, TAVI valves, brain and spinal stimulators (VNS, SCS, DBS).
1-3: Sale of cochlear implant prostheses to patients who are candidates for cochlear implantation.
2- Sale of capital equipment to universities of medical sciences and hospitals:
2-1: Sale of capital equipment and equipping hospitals according to the letters of the Deputy Minister of Health for Treatment and the sales contracts of the Board of Trustees for Currency Savings with universities of medical sciences and medical centers.
