Special Services of HOA
HOA in the Treatment of Patients, as a governmental institution affiliated with the Ministry of Health, based on the law approved in the meeting dated 21/09/1378 of the esteemed Islamic Consultative Assembly, has been established to provide the basis for the treatment of all patients within the country, save currency in patients' treatment costs, eliminate the country's need to send patients abroad for treatment, create any facilities for medical units within the country and equip them, and improve the quantity and quality of facilities in educational and medical centers within the country. In line with the realization of the above-mentioned goals and duties, it takes action to supply the capital equipment needed by the country's universities of medical sciences and affiliated medical centers, supply the vital and strategic consumables needed by patients (including cardiac batteries, oxygenators and heart valves), supply cochlear implant prostheses for performing cochlear implantation surgeries in deaf patients, and supply the items needed to perform various types of transplant operations (heart transplant, liver transplant, lung transplant, bone marrow transplant and kidney transplant).
Given that the capacities foreseen in the law establishing the Board of Trustees expedite and facilitate the provision of equipment and supplies for the health system, in cases of social crises, HOA, benefiting from the advantage of agility and rapid response resulting from the legal capacities of this board and utilizing the capabilities of its experienced and efficient technical experts, in response to the urgent needs referred by the Ministry of Health, has taken action to provide health needs as soon as possible, to which the following examples are mentioned:
